Grateful to have found this album. Despite its harmonic richness, it is one of very approachable beauty. It is the lightness one needs after an Album like Iris (Altars of Grief), a flashback to the game Creaks when arriving at Nuages Orageux and an aesthetic fans of melodeath can surely appreciate. A black metal guitarist writing chamber music? Yes, it's possible. And it sounds fascinating. Augmenting the classical piano trio (piano, violin, and cello) by electric guitar and vibraphone is an attractive idea, and it works just fine.

Among the excellent releases that have graced early 2024 I'd have to say that this album has the most variation of sound. There is so much to dig through and enjoy. Nearly every subgenre of black metal meets here and melds together perfectly. This album is awesome.
